Mountaineers Finish Stellar Class

WVU has now put the finishing touches on what could be the best recruiting class for Bob Huggins with the commitment of three-star forward Lamont West.West cinc

West, 6’7″ 200lbs, is an up and coming forward that used a strong AAU season to showcase his potential. West finished a strong senior season at Georgia Prep Sports Academy where he averaged 15.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game.

He considered headed to JUCO after high school, but decided to stay in the 2015 class when several teams began showing interest in him during the AAU season.

West is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but moved to Georgia to attend high school. Being from that area, West is very familiar with the credentials of WVU head coach Bob Huggins. The commitment of West to WVU is an undervalued move by Huggins that could be a huge key to making this the best class Huggins has had since being at WVU.
