The WVU coaching staff was on fire in the recruiting front in the month of June and now they have continued that hot streak into July. The Mountaineers were able to land a commit from one of the most undervalued running backs in this class, Kennedy McKoy.

McKoy, 6’0 190 lbs. speed back out of North Davidson High School (NC), choose the Mountaineers over Louisville, North Carolina, NC State, and Virginia. McKoy will provide WVU with a home run threat at the running back position that is a highlight reel in open space. McKoy was able to develop a good relationship with WVU coaches Galloway and Seider during his recruitment and that is one of the factors in his decision to choose WVU.

McKoy is rated as a top 25 running back in this class and is certainly another underrated prospect for the Mountaineers in the 2016 class.
