Mountaineers make their way back into AP Top 25

Morgantown, W.Va. – It’s the Monday of Big 12 tournament week and the Mountaineers are undefeated in March. Following a home upset of the Baylor Bears and now will be a sixth seen in the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City, Missouri.

Just a week after the Mountaineers fell out of the top 25 for the first time all season, the team inched their way back into the rankings with a ranking of 22. Joining the Mountaineers in the Top 25 are the Kansas Jayhawks (1) and the Baylor Bears (5).

The conference tournament kicks off Wednesday in Kansas City, Missouri and the Mountaineers will take on the Oklahoma Sooners Thursday evening at 8:00 CST.
