Mountaineers open as favorites against Iowa State

The West Virginia Mountaineers have been favored in every home game this season and the finale will be no different. WVU has opened as a 13.5 point favorite over the 3-8 Iowa State Cyclones this Saturday.

As reported yesterday, Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads will be coaching in his final game as the head of the Cyclones program after getting fired on Sunday.

The Cyclones have struggled late in the season losing 3 in a row including blowing a 35-14 lead this past weekend to Kansas State. If the Mountaineers can win their last two games they will finish 8-4 on the season and 5th in the Big 12 conference.

The Mountaineers are 6-1 this season when favored and are 5-1 at home this season.

The game kicks off at noon EST in Morgantown and will be televised on FS1.
