2016 DB Nick McCloud already has an impressive offer list and late this evening he added a school that is very intriguing to him. WVU extended an offer to the talented defensive back and he spoke with BGS about what the offer means to him.

“The offer means a lot to me, WVU is a great program with a lot of tradition and history.” McCloud , a 6’1 175 lbs. cornerback from South Pointe (SC), currently holds offers from 17 programs and has official visits lined up but a trip to Morgantown is now in his plans. “I plan to make a trip to WVU this season to see what the program has to offer me,”

Even though WVU is joining the pursuit of McCloud a little late, the Mountaineers already stand out to him after coach Galloway extended the offer. “Coach Galloway has a good reputation here in South Carolina and after talking we think that I could make an early impact at WVU.”

McCloud is rated the number 5 cornerback in the state of South Carolina and is in the midst of a solid senior season. Over the summer is where McCloud saw his stock rise and the offers continue to come inĀ for the talented prospect.
