No.17 WVU tops Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Okla.—Oscar Tshiebwe scored 12 points and Derek Culver grabbed 12 rebounds, helping lift No.17 West Virginia past Oklahoma State 55-41 on Monday night.

Miles McBride added 10 points for the Mountaineers (12-2, 1-1 Big 12).

Lindy Waters tallied 12 points and Cameron McGriff dropped 10 for the Cowboys (9-5, 0-2).

WVU shot 38.8 percent from the floor, 25 percent from beyond the arc and 55 percent from the free throw line.

Oklahoma State shot 29 percent from the field, five percent from 3-point range and 60 percent from the line.

The Cowboys were 0-for-10 from 3 in the first half.

The Mountaineers return home on Saturday to take on No. 22 Texas Tech.
