Miramar High School (FL) wide receiver Kahlil Lewis has been committed to West Virginia for over a year now. But with a week until National Signing Day, could his commitment be waivering? Lewis stated this week that he is “done with recruiting” and that he had made his decision and will announce on national signing day.

Lewis, 5-foot-11 and 178 pounds has been a long time Mountaineer pledge mainly due to the hiring of his former coach, Damion Cogdell. Recent trips to Louisville and UCF have many wondering how strong his commitment is to the Mountaineers.

Lewis has listed West Virginia, Louisville and Cincinnati in his final three, but UCF is the darkhorse come next Wednesday.

Kendrell McFadden and Alex Anderson are former teammates who once committed to WVU, but are no longer on the Mountaineer radar.

Lewis is a 3-star prospect.
