One WVU Pro in the top 10 at his position in Pro Bowl Voting

hi-res-155800652_crop_northAs the NFL season dwindles down, many teams are either making preparations for next season, relaxing until Playoffs, or hoping they can squeak out some final wins to give them a wildcard push. Another thing on the horizon (of Hawaii that is) is the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl. This annual event is little over a month away and Mountaineer nation could see one of their own in the event again this season.

The NFL released an updated standings by fan votes for the Pro Bowl, and a WVU favorite is in the Top 10. With 58,699 votes (as of 12/9/15), Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee is second in his position behind New England Patriots punter Ryan Allen.

McAfee was able to participate in his first NFL Pro-Bowl as the punter for Team Carter (which they lost to Team Irvin 32-28) last season.

Mountaineer fans can still vote for McAfee and other WVUPros until Midnight on December 14, 2015 by clicking here.

The announcement of who will be in the Pro-Bowl will com on December 22nd on NFL Network and the Pro Bowl will take place on January 31, 2016.
