Phoenix Suns guard Jevon Carter was awarded with the 2020 Dan Majerle Hustle Award for his efforts during his first season with the Suns.
The award is named after Suns Ring of Honor member Dan Majerle and honors players who compete with the same hustle and determination that Majerle did in his eight seasons with the team.
Suns players, coaches, employees, fans and Majerle himself vote for the winner of the annual award that started in 2003.
It was Majerle himself that informed the former West Virginia star that he had won the award.
Carter’s grit and defense earn him a lot of respect and playing time. In Phoenix’s victory over Miami earlier this week, the Maywood, Illinois native drained 20 points.
