Press Release: Spring Game Information

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 20, 2015) – West Virginia University is hosting its annual Gold-Blue Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 25, at 1 p.m., at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The gates open at noon, and tickets are available for $10 each. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance online at and select the print-at-home option so they can avoid long lines at the stadium on game day. Tickets also can be purchased at the Milan Puskar Stadium north and west gates on game day beginning at 11 a.m. with cash or a check, and at the Mountaineer Ticket Office located in the WVU Coliseum throughout the week. WVU students will be admitted free with a valid WVU student I.D. Proceeds will benefit WVU Children’s Hospital.

All fans, including WVU students, should enter the stadium through the north and west gates. There will be no stadium re-entry passes issued for the game. Stadium seating, restrooms and concessions will be open on the west upper and lower side only. Beer sales will conclude at the beginning of the second half.

The Donald J. Brohard Hall of Traditions, in the Milan Puskar Center, will be open for one hour following the conclusion of the game. Fans can access the Hall of Traditions through Milan Puskar Center entrance.

All parking for cars and RVs is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The following east side parking lots are available for parking for this year’s Gold-Blue Game: C8, C10, C11, F1, F2, F3, F4, D and E. The following west side parking lots are available: A1, A2, B1 and B3. All parking lots will open at 8 a.m. Saturday.

The center and west lots of the large Blue hospital parking areas (hospital parking lots A3, C1-C7, C9, B2 and B4) are reserved for hospital parking only and will not be available. Fans are asked to please observe and respect all current hospital construction areas throughout the parking lots.

The Gold-Blue Game, slated to begin at approximately 1:10 p.m., will conclude WVU’s spring football drills. The defense will make up the blue team, while the offense, who will be wearing white jerseys, will be on the gold squad.

Fans are reminded that umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium.

Once again this year, there will not be an autograph session following the game, and fans will not be permitted on the field. Mountaineer football will conduct its annual Fan Day in August with details being released later this summer.
