Quick Hit: Former Mountaineers’ brother to join Joseph and Irvin in Oakland

Johnny Holton, the older brother of former Mountaineers forward Jonathan Holton, has signed a free agent contract with the Oakland Raiders. He will join former Mountaineers Bruce Irvin and Karl Joseph.

Irvin signed with the Raiders in the offseason and Joseph was the Raiders first round selection in this year’s NFL draft.

Johnny was a two year starter at the University of Cincinnati.

Also joining those three is defensive back Dewey McDonald. McDonald is originally from Ranson, West Virginia where he played at Jefferson High School. McDonald started his collegiate career at Fairmont State before transferring to California University of Pennsylvania his senior season in 2012.
