Quick Hit: Juwan Staten inks contract in Belgium

With the NBA D-League season coming to a close, Juwan Staten will join several other Mountaineers overseas.

Staten finished his first season as a pro with the Delaware 87ers after being traded from Santa Cruz midway through the season. He finished with 28 games played (starting nine) with averages of nearly eight points and four assists per game.

With his season ending this past weekend, Staten chose to continue playing, signing with Belgium club Belfius Mons-Hainaut. They have seven regular season games remaining.
