Today NFL Draft analyst Mike Mayock published his top 5 players in every position for the 2016 NFL Draft. One player on the top of his list was none other than West Virginia safety, Karl Joseph.

Mayock listed Joseph as his top safety in this year’s NFL draft.

Joseph’s collegiate career was finished early in the season after a devastating knee injury sustained in a mountaineer practice. Joseph played for the Mountaineers from 2012 ‘til 2015 and finished his career with the Mountaineers off with 125 solo tackles, 45 assisted tackles, 9 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles.

As of right now Joseph stands as many top analyst’s picks as one of the best safeties in this NFL Draft. Some analysts call him one of the most devastating hitters in this draft class and project him to go within the first three rounds.

The invitees for the NFL Combine have yet to be announced. Joseph should be one. The official attendees should be announced within the next couple of days.
