Quick Hit: Stedman Bailey probably done with football per Jeff Fisher

St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher told reporters on Monday that former WVU wide receiver and current Ram Stedman Bailey is “probably done playing football.”

Bailey was shot twice in the head in late November while visiting relatives in Miami, Florida. Bailey went through a six hour surgery and spent time in intensive care as a result of his injuries which were not considered life threatening. Since his surgery he has already begun walking again and his progress has been impressive. However, despite Bailey’s recovery being “nothing short of a miracle” Fisher believes his injuries are career-threatening.

Fisher did go on to say the NFL had lifted the four game suspension on Bailey for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Bailey will continue to stay on the Rams roster on the non-football injury list.
