With injuries mounting the Philadelphia Eagles went back to a familiar face to help an ailing linebacking corp. Najee Goode, who was the last player cut by the Eagles this preseason was re-signed Tuesday morning.
Goode had been with the Eagles since 2013 after spending his rookie season in Tampa Bay.
Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso is out for the season with a torn ACL and fellow linebacker Mychal Kendricks is nursing a hamstring injury.
Goode was originally cut due to the Eagles depth at linebacker. With that depth slowly fading Najee was the easy call.
