Recruiting: 2016 Back Has WVU On Top

ACC schools have lined up to watch 2016 North Davidson (N.C.) running back Kennedy McKoy, but one Big 12 team has entered the mix for the talented prospect.

McKoy arrived at the U.S. Army All-American Combine last week and was asked which school jumps out at him. The answer was simple.

West Virginia.

McKoy is known as an every down back that’s explosive and has great hands out of the backfield.

Another program that stands out at this point is N.C. State. McKoy, 6-foot and 190-pounds grew up a Florida fan, and a Gator offer may change things. For now, it’s the Mountaineers and Wolfpack leading the way with Tennessee and Virginia Tech looking to enter the picture.

McKoy is rated a 3-star prospect by Rivals.com and has offers from West Virginia, N.C. State, North Carolina, Boston College, East Carolina and Charlotte.
