Recruiting: Decision Time For Whitney

Riverside C.C. wide receiver Isaac Whitney has done all he can do. With all official visits in the past and a decision time set for today at 1:30, Whitney has seen all he needed to see.

Whitney, 6-4 and 195-pounds is fresh off a visit to West Virginia where he came away impressed. Wide receivers coach Lonnie Galloway has been handling his recruitment this point, and the Mountaineers made the prospect a high priority.

With all of his visits in the mirror, Whitney will make his decision known this Thursday during a ceremony.

But did the Mountaineers do enough to lure Whitney away from favorite USC?

Whitney will make a decision based on comfort, and with family in California, that may be enough to pledge to the Trojans.

Rated a 3-star prospect by, Whitney will select between USC, West Virginia and Washington State though many feel the decision will come down between the Trojans and Mountaineers.

Florida, Texas Tech, Boise State and Nebraska are a few programs that also offered.
