West Virginia is back in North Carolina to find a native son.
Mallard Creek High School (NC) defensive end Josh Brown added a Mountaineer offer to an impressive list that includes Florida State, LSU, Michigan, North Carolina and UCLA.
Brown, 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds committed to FSU back in September, but that was before his dream school entered the picture.
“I was born in West Virginia, so I was automatically a WVU fan,” Brown said. “I’ve been one all my life and I always dreamed of having the opportunity to play there.”
WVU wide receivers coach Lonnie Galloway is handling the recruitment of Brown.
Brown tells BGS.com that he will visit West Virginia in March.
