Recruiting: Rasul Douglas Still On Radar?

Nassau Community College (NY) cornerback Rasul Douglas is one of the top ranked JUCO players in the country at any position.

So where does he stand with West Virginia?

Douglas, 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds is a fast athletic kid with elite speed and coverage skills. He’s the type of player who wants to man-up against the best receiver on the field. That puts the Mountaineers in a solid position given his relationship with cornerbacks coach Brian Mitchell.

He will be able to play two years at the school he selects and will enroll at that school in January.

When it comes to a commitment, West Virginia is at the point where they need to keep an eye on numbers, but corner is a need in this class. With WVU losing most of the secondary after the 2015 season, the need is there and Douglas can come in and earn quality playing time.

Douglas is rated a 3-star prospect by Rivals.com.

He has received offers from Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky to name a few.
