Recruiting: WVU In Battle for NJ Defensive End

West Virginia was one of the first schools to offer defensive end Ron Johnson in the spring of 2014.

Johnson, 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds has offers from Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Miami (FL), Michigan State and Pittsburgh to name a few.

Although WVU was in the game early, with programs like OSU, Penn State and Michigan State in the mix, it looks to be a tough battle for the Mountaineers.

Penn State looks to be the leader at this point, but his recruitment is far from over.

Rated a 4-star prospect, Johnson will visit Morgantown on the 31st.
