Like many prospects, Colonial Forge High School (VA) wide receiver Gary Jennings made the trip to Morgantown when the Mountaineers faced Oklahoma back in September.
Jennings, 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds enjoyed his time on the trip and like the others, he noticed the atmosphere and excitement inside of Milan Puskar Stadium.
“The Oklahoma game was a great game and the atmosphere was awesome.” he said.
With West Virginia losing Kevin White and Mario Alford after this season, the need at the position is there, and that’s something lead recruiter Lonnie Galloway has stressed.
Jennings is looking at West Virginia, Wisconsin, Boston College, Virginia and Vandy. Notre Dame has also entered late in the process.
He will soon trim his list down before making his college destination known, but he enjoyed a weekend visit to Wisconsin where he came away impressed.
Jennings is rated a 3-star prospect by Rivals.com.
