Recruiting: WVU offers 2016 Athlete

Stonewall Jackson High School (VA) already has one prospect on the Mountaineers radar in 2015 defensive tackle Tim Settle. You can now add 2016 athlete Reggie Floyd to the board after picking up the West Virginia offer in September.

West Virginia wide receivers coach Lonnie Galloway extended the offer to Floyd and he is serving as lead recruiter.

Floyd, 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds has offers from Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Wake Forest with Tennessee, Rutgers and Virginia showing interest at this point.

Playing both running back and safety for Stonewall Jackson, the Mountaineers are looking at Floyd as a running back.

Floyd visited Virginia Tech and has a comfort level with the Hokies, but he says his recruitment is wide open and he’s looking for the right fit, with the right educational fit the priority.
