Recruiting: WVU Offers 2016 Receiver

Last week was good for 2016 Benedictine High School (VA) wide receiver Donaven Tennyson. West Virginia, Tennessee and Boston College offered on Thursday, and the Mountaineers made a move when Lonnie Galloway offered the inside receiver.

Tennyson, 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds has received interest from Michigan State, Penn State and Notre Dame.

Like most prospects that have watched West Virginia, Tennyson is an athlete that models his game after Tavon Austin.

With business starting to pick up for the young prospect, Tennyson doesn’t have a timeline to make a decsion and has no leaders at this point. He looks to enter a school with a solid Engineering and Business Department.

Tennyson is looking at a possible Morgantown visit later this month, possibly on the 31st.
