On this day in 2009, Cincinnati Bengals WR and Mountaineer Chris Henry succumbed to the injuries suffered in a vehicle accident in Charlotte, NC. Today, we look back at some of his highlights from the playing field.

Pacman Jones wore Henry's #15 on the back of his helmet recently.

Throughout the past few weeks, several of his former Bengals teammates, including WVU’s Adam Jones, have paid Henry tribute. Jones recently wore Henry’s #15 on the back of his helmet. Former Bengals’ quarterback Carson Palmer mentioned Henry and the anniversary of his death during last week’s post-game press conference.

He played two seasons at WVU, he compiled 1,828 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns. His stats as a member of the Bengals were almost identical: 1,826 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Henry was known for making some amazing catches, perhaps better than any other receiver in school history.

Here are some of his highlights, and as always, #RIPSlim.
