Report: University of Florida transfer visiting WVU

As first reported by Mike Casazza, BGS has confirmed that Will Grier, the former Florida Gator quarterback, is on campus today considering Morgantown as a potential new home.

Grier was a redshirt freshman last season before being suspended in October for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. After losing his appeal to the NCAA Grier decided it was in his best interest to transfer.

Up until his suspension Grier had a bright future at Florida being the first Gator QB to pass for over 200 yards in three consecutive games since Tim Tebow.

Grier would have to sit out one year due to NCAA transfer rules and would have two years of eligibility left.
