MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–WVU cornerback Corey Winfield was arrested for DUI by WVU Police Saturday night, according to Sean Manning of the Dominion Post.

Winfield swerved over the center line and then failed a sobriety test after being pulled over, according to the report.

In a statement to the Dominion Post, Dana Holgorsen said he had been made aware of the situation and was gathering facts and would act accordingly after that.

Winfield is a graduate transfer from Syracuse who is in his first year at WVU.
