Morgantown, W.V.a – After Monday night’s Texas blowout in Morgantown, the men’s basketball team plays host for one of the weekend’s Big 12/SEC matchup games.
The Mountaineers will host the Missouri Tigers on Saturday for a prime noon tip off on ESPN. Mountaineer fans across the country will be looking for some sort of redemption from the lats time the Missouri Tigers were discussed, the throttling of the Mountaineers during football season.
This Saturday’s home game is a sell out in the Coliseum, which is a stark cry from the way home games were selling during last season’s dramatically less exciting season of basketball.
The Missouri Tigers are currently 9-9 on the season, and next to last in the SEC with an 0-5 conference record. It is clear that the Tigers will be looking to hand Mountaineers another upset.
After Saturday’s home game, the Mountaineers travel to Lubbock to take on the National Championship runner-ups Texas Tech Red Raiders next Wednesday.
