Second Miramar Commit Reopens Recruitment

3 star RB from Hollywood, FL (Miramar), Alex Anderson, announced today that he has decided to reopen his recruiting. Anderson has originally committed to the Mountaineers on May 5th of this year.

Anderson is the second commit from Miramar to announce he is reopening his recruitment. Earlier this month Kendrell McFadden, a 3 star safety, stated that he would be considering other offers as well although he stated that he was still committed to WVU.

There could be multiple reasons why Anderson chose to reopen his recruitment. WVU has been making moves as of late including offering 4 star RB TJ Simmons who is currently committed to UCLA. WVU will also be getting a visit from 4 star Pitt commit Darrin Hall in January as well. Anderson stated this was a family decision and he wanted to give everyone a fair shot.

However, just like McFadden, Anderson stated that he is still committed to WVU. Anderson stated on Twitter, :

“After a long talk with my father we came to the decision that I officially open back up my recruitment and explore my options and give everyone a fair shot until further notice it is still WVU and they will continue to be in the mix.”
