Morgantown, W.VA. – Tuesday afternoon head football coach Neal Brown met with the media following the Texas loss and ahead of the TCU home game. The head coach addressed the media, bringing with him the news that 2020 breakout star Leddie Brown is questionable for the TCU game Saturday in Morgantown.
Brown has been one of the more dynamic playmakers on offense this season, and was injured during the first offensive play of the road loss to the Texas Longhorns.
“Leddie wasn’t 100 percent. He got hurt on the first play of the game on a play where he was actually on the perimeter blocking, and he wasn’t the same,” Coach Brown said. “We’re gonna take care of him this week. We’re hopeful that he’ll play, but we won’t know till later in the week.”
The head coach could not give a definitive answer as to when they would know about Brown’s status for Saturday, but a game without the playmaker will leave West Virginia’s offense with a big hole to fill.
The Mountaineers play host to the TCU Horned Frogs Saturday in Morgantown, the game will kick off at noon on FOX.
