West Virginia head basketball coach Bob Huggins met with the media on Thursday and he still feels good about his team as they prepare for this Sunday’s exhibition game against Shepard.
Huggs says the Mountaineers will roll out a starting five that doesn’t include point guard Juwan Staten who is still nursing a strained ankle, but he says Staten will work his way into the game.
Gary Browne has been running the point with the absence of Staten.
Coach Huggins says the starting five will look like this:
Point Guard – Gary Browne
Shooting Guard – Daxter Miles
Power Forward – Jonathan Holton
Small Forward – Nathan Adrian
Center – Devin Williams
