Tavares Martin Commits to WVU

As first reported by Chris Anderson of Eersports.com, 3 star WR out of Lake Worth, Florida, Tavares Martin, has finalized his commitment after visiting Morgantown this weekend. As we had mentioned onĀ our forum Tavares had verbally committed to WVU a while back but had yet to make an official visit. The staff requires all commits to visit campus before finalizing their commitments. Martin had the opportunity to tour campus as well as have dinner at Coach Holgorsen’s house while on his visit.

Martin had 19 different offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida, Marshall, and Michigan State among others. Martin had developed a good relationship with the coaching staff including JaJuan Seider and Lonnie Galloway who recruited the 6-1, 160 lb receiver.

Martin will enroll at WVU in January and is the 24th commitment to the Mountaineers 2015 class.
