Timing of Recruit Visit Significant For WVU

The Wisconsin offer to 4 star Ohio linebacker Jango Glackin on April 15th was speculated by many to be the end of his recruitment. Glackin currently boasts 17 offers and has taken his recruitment seriously visiting multiple schools. His most recent visit was to Madison this past weekend.

One of his favorites has always been West Virginia. Glackin has held an offer from the Mountaineers since August 18th of 2014. WVU quickly became high on Jango’s list because of the way the coaching staff recruited him. Since his offer Jango has visited WVU twice, first in September of 2014 and again this past March. West Virginia is the only university Jango has visited twice during his recruitment.

Jango has told me that he plans on making his decision on late June. Speaking to his father he informs me that Jango plans on making one final visit to each of his top choices before announcing. With how careful Jango has been in making his decision he will inevitably visit a few schools over the next 2 months. However, at this time there is only one school on that list, West Virginia. That visit is expected to be sometime in June.

Two other schools expected to be on the list are Wisconsin and Northwestern. There is also the possibility of other schools who have yet to offer making a late push for Jango’s services.
