On Tuesday morning, two West Virginia football players entered their names in the NCAA transfer portal. Among those are offensive lineman Parker Moorer and linebacker VanDarius Cowan.
Parker Moorer is a redshirt sophomore offensive lineman from the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Moorer contributed to WVU’s offensive line at times in 2021, but ultimately lost his starting job to true freshman Wyatt Milum. Moorer is currently a redshirt sophomore, so he will have two years of eligibility for his next team.
VanDarius Cowan came to WVU in 2018 after playing his freshman season for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Cowan had to sit out the 2018 season because of NCAA transfer rules, but he has contributed to the WVU defense since Neal Brown’s first season in 2019. Cowan is a redshirt senior at the moment, so he will have one year of eligibility for the next team he ends up with.
