Two Mountaineers Receive All-American Honors has published their 2014 college football All-American team(s) Wednesday night that included two Mountaineers.

WVU Senior WR Kevin White was named to the first team All-American team joining Amari Cooper of Alabama as the two WR’s to receive the honor. White finished the 2014 season with 102 receptions for 1,318 yards and 9 touchdowns. White, who is considered by many to be a first round draft choice in the 2015 NFL draft was also a first team Big 12 All-Conference selection. White is also a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

Also receiving the honor was Sophomore kicker Josh Lambert who was named as a second team All-American behind fellow Groza Award semifinalist Roberto Aguayo of Florida St who took first team honors. Lambert led the NCAA in field goals made with 27 including making 11 from 40 yards or more. Lambert was also perfect on PAT’s connecting on all 41 attempts this season. Lambert was also named to the All-Big 12 second team this week as well.

Both White and Lambert will find out whether they can add to their list of accomplishments tonight during the College Football Awards show which airs on ESPN at 7 PM.
