Tynice Martin drafted by Los Angeles in the third round of WNBA Draft

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–West Virginia guard Tynice Martin was selected with the 34th pick in the third round of the WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday evening.

During her time with the Mountaineers, Martin finished fourth on the all-time scoring list with 1,980 points. She averaged 14.5 points per game in her senior season and was named a second team All-Big 12 selection.

Martin was the fifth of seven Big 12 players drafted.
