West Virginia Mountaineers prepare for Big 12 Media Days

Big 12 Conference Media Days are next week at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Media Days are the first official marks on the calendar that signify the start of the 2019 football season. Over the course of two days, Monday July 15 and Tuesday July 16, all ten teams from the conference will take over the Dallas Cowboys stadium in two days full of Big 12 football.

This is the Head Coach Neal Brown’s inaugural trip to Big 12 Media Days and the head coach is bringing three players to represent the team. Coach Brown will travel to Dallas alongside offensive linemen Colton McKivitz, wide receiver T.J. Simmons and cornerback Keith Washington, Jr. The trio of players will spend time in Dallas meeting with members of the media as they highlight and showcase the work put in during the off-season by all ten Big 12 teams.

Media Days are also a time for coaches and players to interact with one another off the gridiron as well as learn about changes, rules and any new information that the conference is bringing about for the 2019 season.

Coach Brown is not the only newcomer head coach making his Big 12 Media Days debut. Kansas State Coach Chris Klieman joins Brown, along with Coach Matt Wells of Texas Tech and Coach Les Miles of Kansas. These four head coaches will make their conference debuts and will certainly be highlights of the few days in Texas.
