West Virginia takes hit in both AP Poll and USA Today bracketology

After going 0-2 last week losing to the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners the Mountaineers dropped four spots in the latest weekly AP Top 25 poll. Consequently, according to Shelby Mast, USA Today bracketologist, the Mountaineers fell from a projected number two seed in the NCAA tournament to a third seed. You can see Mast’s bracketology that is updated every morning here.

The Big 12 conference still, however, still boasts six teams ranked in the top 25 and seven teams projected to make the NCAA tournament.
