What to Watch: Bye Week Addition

After a grueling five-game stretch for the Mountaineers this fall, the team is on their final bye week of the season. While the Mountaineers take some time off and prepare for the final two games of the season, the Big 12 conference has three games on the schedule to get you through a fall Saturday with football.

Texas at Kansas: The Top 25-ranked Longhorns travel to Lawrence to take on the winless Jayhawks on Saturday. Les Miles and crew will look for their first win of his sophomore season in Kansas, while Tom Herman and Shane Ehlinger continue to prove that Texas is “back.” It’s pretty clear what direction this game will go, but crazier things have happened in 2020 so you never know. Tune in for lots of scores from the Longhorns as the Jayhawks will likely struggle.

Kansas State at Iowa State: This will be a game worth watching. Two of the top-tier conferences teams both with a lot at state. The Wildcats will take a trip to visit the Cyclones in Ames. The Cyclones are the team to beat this year, sitting atop the conference. It’s worth noting that the Mountaineers still have one road game this season, finishing it out in Ames the first weekend in December. This one is one to watch.

Oklahoma State at Oklahoma: Bedlam. Often a must-watch game for Big 12 fans. ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast from Norman for this matchup as Oklahoma will struggle to maintain their dominance over the Big 12. This year’s Bedlam is the week prior to Oklahoma taking a road trip to Morgantown to take on the Mountaineers. The Mountaineers are undefeated at home, have already lost to Oklahoma State and likely have that game circled on the calendar in the locker room.
