WV In-State Talent Continues To Find Way to Morgantown

The state is starting to see the WV high school football talent rise and major football programs are in West Virginia recruiting that talent. The Mountaineers previously┬áreceived a commitment from 6’5″ 235 lb. Cabell Midland DE Reese Donahue and today continued using that pipeline when 6’2″ 193 lb. Capital High QB Tyrhee Pratt committed for the 2016 class.

Pratt was on campus at WVU for the Junior Day and opening spring practice today and announced his decision to the coaching staff this afternoon. Pratt is widely regarded as the top quarterback prospect in WV and offers superb rushing skills to go along with rising throwing and accuracy skills.

Pratt was offered by the Mountaineers last summer and remained in contact with the coaching staff throughout his recruiting period. Pratt received a visit from Mountaineers head coach Dana Holgorsen this past winter and has been a target of the coaching staff for quite some time.

Even with Pratt’s commitment, look for the Mountaineers to keep this WV in-state talent┬ápipeline rising.
