MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – (March 11, 2021) — On Thursday morning, it was announced by former Penn State linebacker Lance Dixon, that he was committed to transferring to West Virginia University.
Dixon announced it on his Twitter.
Dixon—with a 6-foot-2 and 221 pound frame—played his most reps for the Nittany Lions last season as a redshirt freshman. In five games, Dixon recorded 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and forced a fumble against Ohio State.
Dixon will fill the hole that was needed to fill after Tony Fields entered the NFL Draft. Dixon will have three years of eligibility, with a potential fourth with his free COVID year.
