When West Virginia pulled their offer to star wide receiver Mike Harley, many WVU fans wondered where the Mountaineers would turn to in their search for the next great receiver at WVU. Well that question was answered tonight when WR Reggie Roberson announced his commitment to the Mountaineers.

Roberson, 6’0 180 lbs. receiver from Mesquite, Texas, will provide the Mountaineers with a sure handed athletic option on the outside next season. Roberson has the skill set that will remind WVU fans of Stedman Bailey and getting an opportunity to play in front of family for away games makes WVU that much more appealing to Roberson.

Roberson finished his senior season with over 1,000 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns but he isn’t limited to just offense as he also contributed a pair of special teams touchdowns which is an area WVU has been looking to upgrade since the departure of Tavon Austin.

Roberson choose the Mountaineers over Illinois, Utah, and Washington State.
