Coach Seider has been one of the most successful recruiters in the state of Florida for the WVU football program and the 2017 recruiting class isn’t any different with Sunday’s news that WR Mike Harley Jr. has committed to WVU.
Harley, a 5’9 160 lbs. wide receiver from St. Thomas Aquinas (FL), was a visitor this past weekend to the Mountaineers 7 on 7 tournament and was impressed with what he saw. “WVU is a great school with an offense that I fit perfectly into.” Harley is a downfield threat that will fit into the Mountaineers air raid scheme perfectly and will provide WVU with more depth at the wide receiver position with the loss of David Sills earlier this week.
Harley credits Coach Seider as another reason that he chose WVU. “He has been like a father to me throughout this process.” Harley chose WVU over Cincinnati, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
Harley Jr becomes the seventh commitment to the Mountaineers’ 2017 class and second commitment from the state of Florida.
