WVU Basketball Team to Participate in Second Charity Softball Game

Morgantown W.Va.-

After traveling to the Bahamas, the WVU basketball team will be hosting a 2nd charity slow pitch softball game. This bonding event for Huggins team will be held on August 21st at the new Monongalia County Ballpark. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

Tickets at the gate will be $3 for general admission and $1 for students with all proceeds going to the Norma Mae Huggins cancer research fund.

Last year, Bob Huggins team of coaching staff, assistants and managers defeated WVU baseball student-athletes at Hawley field. This year the teams will be set up the same way with Huggins managing his basketball staff and WVU baseball coach Randy Mazey coaching the student basketball athletes.

Huggins believes that this is a great to raise money for cancer research and for West Virginia fans to get to see the news faces on the 2015-2016 basketball team.
