West Virginia is again favored this weekend in their season finale against the 5-6 Kansas State Wildcats. The Mountaineers, 7-4 (4-4), are favored by 6 points in Manhattan and are 6-1 this season when in that position.
Dana Holgorsen and the West Virginia Mountaineers have yet to beat the Wildcats as members of the Big 12 conference. The last, and only, victory the Mountaineers have over Kansas State was in 1930. The only other team the Mountaineers have yet to defeat as a member of the Big 12 is Oklahoma. This is only the second time this season WVU has been favored on the road. They were also favored at Kansas.
Just like last week against Paul Rhoads and Iowa State, this may be the last game for future hall of fame coach Bill Snyder. Snyder announced this morning that he will decide whether to come back for one more season after this season is over.
Unfortunately for Snyder that may come sooner rather than later as the Mountaineers have the ability to negate the Wildcats a post season. However, a Texas loss could potentially mean a 5-7 Big 12 team making a bowl game.
The game is set to kickoff this Saturday at 4;30 PM EST and will be televised on FS1
