WVU Football program congratulates graduates for weekend’s virtual graduation

Morgantown, W.VA. – This past weekend was earmarked as a weekend that all college students and student-athletes mark on their calendars and look forward to; gradation. Due to the national situation with the global outbreak of COVID-19, graduation ceremonies were taken online.

This virtual graduation did not stop Neal Brown and the football program from finding a way to make the day special. The head coach and several alumni sent their congratulations and best wishes to the graduates, again continuing to do their best to make the day special given the new normal of life.

Brown was not the only one to take to the football’s Twitter account this past weekend. Along with Brown, NFL greats Anthony Bechty, Najee Goode and Rasheed Marshall took to the social media forum to give a moment of of congratulations and share the importance of their degrees from West Virginia University.

Despite the social distancing and new normal of not currently being around one another, Coach Brown, the football program and its players and the university have excelled at bringing new and unique content to social media at a time where person-to-person connection is craved by all.

Congratulations to the Class of 2020!
