WVU Opens as Favorite in Liberty Bowl

According to vegasinsider.com, WVU has opened as a 4.5 point favorite over the Texas A&M Aggies in the 2014 Liberty Bowl. Also, according to Chris Anderson of Eersports.com, WVU has been favored in 7 games this season going 5-2 in those games. The two games the Mountaineers lost while favored were Texas and Kansas St.

Texas A&M is 1-3 this season in games where they were NOT favored, the sole win coming at the beginning of the season against South Carolina.

There is no over/under set for this game yet. WVU had only 3 games this season that went over while Texas A&M had 5. However, with Texas A&M having a defense ranked among the worst (ranked 101) and the WVU offense being ranked 12th in the nation, this could still be a high scoring affair.
