West Virginia quarterback Jarret Doege has decided he will enter the transfer portal.
Doege announced this on twitter on Friday afternoon, saying “West Virginia will always have a special place in my heart. I am excited about the future and will be looking for a new home for the 2022 season.”
Doege had a very up and down season, with it ending in a bad 18-6 loss to Minnesota. Doege passed for 3,048 yards, 19 touchdowns, while throwing 12 interceptions on the year.
Doege will have one year of eligibility left after playing at Bowling Green for two years, before West Virginia for the last three.
