WVU Receives 24 Votes in AP Poll

In the Associated Press weekly Top 25 college basketball poll, West Virginia received 24 votes this week.

The Mountaineers defeated then-No. 15 UConn 56-53 on Wednesday and then beat Kent State 63-50 on Sunday, and are now 9-1 on the season. The Mountaineers would be ranked No. 32 in the country based off of the amount of votes they received.

The Big 12 currently has five teams inside the Top 25, with West Virginia and Oklahoma having received votes.

This week, West Virginia will travel to UAB on Saturday, with tipoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
