WVUPros in the NFL Week 11 Recap: Irvin and Joseph ball out on Monday Night Football

Here is what happened in NFL Week 11 for WVUPros in the NFL.

Bills 16 vs. Bengals 12

Adam Pacman Jones finished with five tackles and one pass breakup in the game. He also returned one punt for 10 yards. Will Clarke had one tackle.

Titans 17 vs. Colts 21

Pat McAfee punted three times for a 44-yard average with a long of 49, placing two inside the 20.

Buccaneers 19 vs. Chiefs 17

Keith Tandy had two tackles in the Bucs upset win over K.C.

Dolphins 14 vs. Rams 10

The Rams replaced QB Case Keenum with No. 1 draft pick Jared Goff in hopes of invigorating a beleaguered offense. That didn’t exactly happen as the Rams’ offensive gameplan relied on short, controlled passes. You would figure that would mean that Tavon Austin would figure in highly. Didn’t happen. He was targeted twice, catching one pass for 21 yards. He had two carries for 8 yards. He also had four punt returns for 30.

Eagles 15 vs. Seahawks 26

With in-game injuries happening to Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles, rookie RB Wendell Smallwood received the bulk of the second half workload.

He also had two tackles on special teams.

Packers 24 vs. Redskins 42

Don Barclay left the game for Green Bay with a shoulder injury. Terence Garvin tallied three tackles for Washington.

Texans 20 vs. Raiders 27

After coming off a bye week, we had to wait until Monday night to see the Raiders’ dynamic defensive duo of Bruce Irvin and Karl Joseph on the field, this time in Mexico City for Monday Night Football against Houston. Both players came to play. Irvin had the game’s first two tackles, the second blowing through the line to wrap up RB Lamar Miller for a loss. Irvin did that several times throughout the game, getting 2.5 tackles behind the line. He mixed his pass rush and dropping back in coverage to tie for a team-high 10 tackles with two other players. One of the other two? Karl Joseph.

When it wasn’t Irvin getting to ball carriers, it was the Human Hit Stick Karl Joseph laying multiple Texans out:

Of course, the game wouldn’t be complete without Joseph and Irvin teaming up on a tackle:
