We recap the week that was in Week 9 of the NFL season for Mountaineers in the NFL.

Falcons 43 vs. Buccaneers 28

Keith Tandy had one tackle for the Bucs on Thursday night.

Eagles 23 vs. NY Giants 28

The Eagles named Wendell Smallwood as one of their team captains for this game. He went on to rush for 25 yards on two carries and returned two kickoffs for 50. On defense for the Eagles, Najee Goode had three tackles.

Panthers 13 vs. Rams 10

After the Rams said they wanted to get Tavon Austin more involved in the offense this past week, he had no catches in the first half against Carolina and was not targeted once. The second half cast a slightly different story. Slightly. Austin had two passes thrown his way in the second half. He caught one on an out pattern and picked up 17 yards. He got the ball on an end-around but only managed one yard. He returned four punts for 40 yards.

After being questionable to play because of a shoulder injury, Daryl Worley suited up for Carolina. He broke up a pass and finished with five tackles.

Colts 31 vs. Packers 24

Pat McAfee punted four times for a 55.5 yard average with a long of 67.

Broncos 20 vs. Raiders 30

The Raiders defense did not allow the Bengals offense to get a first down until midway through the second quarter. Karl Joseph broke up a pass that could have led to a first down during the first quarter. Bruce Irvin recorded one tackle and a QB hit, but his pass rush forced Broncos QB Trevor Siemian out of the pocket several times leading to broken plays.

Quinton Spain did not play for Tennessee this week due to a knee injury.
